Experience

Abby's career in life sciences communications was borne out of a desire to make scientific concepts and innovations more intelligible. She has 15 years of experience developing and implementing successful life sciences communications strategies and has worked with companies developing technologies across different therapeutic areas and development stages. An avid writer and proficient editor, Abby has a particular interest in cleantech innovations, AI applications in biotechnology, regenerative agriculture and new approaches to mental health care.

Abby has a Bachelor of Science (pre-med equivalent) degree from the University of Alberta and a Master of Biomedical Technology Degree from the University of Calgary.

In her spare time, Abby enjoys working on permaculture projects at her home in British Columbia's Slocan Valley.
